COYOTE RI- SERVICES
Coyote RI provides support to sex workers and trafficking victims, to include providing non-judgmental and compassionate crisis management services. Coyote provides support services to incarcerated sex workers and we provide case managers to help sex workers access reentry services upon their release.
Coyote strives to provide adequate resource referrals to sex workers. We have documented the discrimination that sex workers endure when trying to access public services. We continue to educate service providers and government officials about the best way to help connect “people involved in the sex industry” to services.
Starting in August 2017 Coyote RI will be providing free HIV & Hep C testing, and condom distribution to sex workers and to the general public.
Coyote strives to reduce stigma and violence against sex workers and we lobby for policies that promote the health and safety of sex workers. We acknowledge that sex work is an acceptable form of labor. We recognize that the criminalization of prostitution is a form of state-sponsored violence and systemic oppression against a highly marginalized population.
Coyote is also one of the 6 local organizations that created the AMOR network, which is a coalition of directly affected people and “people of color” led organizations, building a Rapid Resistance Network to protect our community.

Education, Lobbying, and Social Organizations
There are a number of organizations working to improve conditions for sex workers, from the perspective of decriminalization, concern over safety, health and legal issues, as well as the simple issue of being treated as a human being with the same dignity and respect due to any other mother, sister or daughter. Organizations that may be of interest to those of you of an activist bent include:
- $pread Magazine – A quarterly magazine by and for sex workers and those who support our rights. The magazine has a focus on personal experiences and political insights and contains practical information like news, features, health columns, and resources related to the sex industry. $pread builds community in the sex trade by featuring the honest and diverse perspectives of those who know it best: the women and men, including transgender persons, who work within this sensationalized, highly stereotyped industry.
- AMMAR – an Argentinian organization with both national and local chapters
- Arresting Prostitutes is Legal Exploitation – APLE is a Hawaii-based organization that believes laws should further some legitimate interest of the community and not simply harass citizens designated as outcasts. Criminal prostitution laws are a holdover from an era when there were laws against sodomy and adultery, and debtors were sent to prison. Today laws against prostitution are defended on the grounds that they keep prostitutes from walking the streets and offending people who don’t want to see them there. However, these laws are ineffectual at preventing prostitution and in fact, make it more difficult to address the harms of prostitution since they simply drive the problems underground.
- Best Practices Policy Project – This is an organization dedicated to creating excellence amongst organizations and advocates working with sex workers in the United States. We produce materials for policy environments, address research and academic concerns and provide NGOs with technical assistance. Everything that we do is guided by principles that protect the rights of people who engage in commercial sex in all its forms.

COYOTE members have also testified at government hearings, served as expert witnesses in trials, helped police with investigations of crimes against prostitutes, and provided sensitivity training to government and private non-profit agencies that provide services to prostitutes. COYOTE LA does not hold meetings at this time but will consider doing so again if there are interested sex workers who are willing to volunteer time to contact members and organize meetings. Previous support meetings were suspended when all the responsibility for meeting organization and member contacting fell on one individual and the other members did not contribute time or money to keep the meetings going.

Through educational training and outreach, we will empower and capacity build to address discrimination of erotic service providers and the greater erotic community. Lastly, we strive to archive and rate much of the research which has been done by and of the sex worker community, and build on this history with research which seeks to be increasingly inclusive, respectful, and ultimately, relevant to the erotic service providers and the larger erotic community.

MASSACHUSETTS SEX WORKER ALLY NETWORK -The Massachusetts Sex Worker Ally Network (MASWAN) was born as an effort to collaborate with individuals who expressed a desire to aid SWOP’s mission to fight for the rights of sex workers. It began in October of 2016 after our first “Sex Work 101” workshop, which generated community interest in our mission. SWOP-Boston had long discussed having an ally network in order to allow for the membership of interested groups and individuals in the community who are not sex workers but are interested in contributing to the efforts of our local sex workers’ rights movement. Our members include academics, researchers, psychologists, and others–and SWOP-Boston members, working together towards our common objectives of striving for “safety, dignity and self-determination for all sex workers in their work and in our communities.”
- Global Network of Sex Work Projects – NSWP was established as an informal alliance in 1992 by a group of sex worker rights activists working within sex work projects around the world. Over the years, NSWP conducted activities in partnership with other organizations and the principle of the participation of sex workers in policy and programme development has been accepted at many levels. Despite lacking resources and recognition, the NSWP has influenced policy and built leadership among sex workers and facilitated the development of regional and national networks of sex workers and sex work projects. Significantly NSWP participation in the global response to HIV/AIDS was largely responsible for the term “sex worker” replacing “prostitute”. More than mere political correctness, this shift in language had the important effect of moving global understandings of sex work toward a labour framework which signposts solutions to many of the problems faced by sex workers. It also questions the stigma of sex work and represents greater recognition of sex workers as rights bearers, with the capacity to make a difference.
- New Zealand Prostitutes Collective – NZPC is an organization comprising past and present sex workers and our allies. NZPC advocates for the human rights, health and well-being of all sex workers. NZPC is committed to working for the empowerment of sex workers, so that sex workers may have control over all aspects of their work and lives.

Sex workers deserve genuine labour rights, with industry-wide standards defined by sex workers themselves. We maintain a bad client phone line and list to report bad clients as well as decrease the isolation experienced by many sex workers by organizing sex worker-friendly social events and functions.
- Sex Work Cyber Resource Center Canada – Extensive Research Reports to enjoy legal sex workers in Canada. Beautiful escorts, erotic massage, nude lap dancing, and nude-reverse-massage. By Dave in Phoenix
- Sex Work, Cyber Resource Center – We do not promote or recommend any illegal sexual services. Unlike most of the rest of the world, citizens of the U.S. do not have consenting, in private, adult freedoms. In the U.S. those in power, know what is best for you. The Christian groups (the self-righteous minority that has an undeserving influence) that mostly control the power in the U.S. are so morally weak that they can not coerce everyone into their views without imposing their morality by law to force everyone to follow their perverted repressive view. Ironically their views have no biblical basis, yet they try to control with their biblical ignorance all citizens by laws they get passed. Some cities choose not to actively enforce in private morality law crimes while others like Phoenix are very active wasting police resources setting up stings and entrapment, seeking to prevent healthy, safe, private consenting adult activities that benefit the culture.

This forum is privately funded without advertising and therefore depends on most of your employees. Most posts can be read without registration and a registration (so you also post, watch movies, and you can enter some hidden areas) is of course free! English version -google translate
- Sex Workers Outreach Project – SWOP USA is is a national social justice network dedicated to the fundamental human rights of sex workers and their communities, focusing on ending violence and stigma through education and advocacy. SWOP, at its most basic, is an anti-violence campaign. As a multi-state network of sex workers and advocates, we address locally and nationally the violence that sex workers experience because of their criminal status.
- SWOP BEHIND BARS SWOP Behind Bars provides community support for incarcerated sex workers and connects incarcerated sex workers in US prisons and jails to the sex worker rights movement. A significant percentage of sex workers are people who are incarcerated for prostitution and prostitution-related crimes, and these individuals are disproportionately affected by laws that criminalize sex work, as well as stigma, violence, and their related challenges to reenter their communities. We work to support and build relationships with individuals most affected by these laws and provide incarcerated sex workers with information, linkages to individualized, comprehensive case management, and skills they need to become leaders and partners with the sex worker rights movement. We call attention to the violence, stigma, and discrimination that occur against sex workers that are perpetuated by the criminalization of prostitution. We provide a monthly newsletter, books, study materials, and sex worker pen pals for incarcerated sex workers. Upon release from jail or prison, we strive to help sex workers meet their basic needs, and we provide resources, networking, and linkages for successful reentry into their communities.
